In the 13thth minute of the game Thiago Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manhumirim's Vágner Tróia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Leal in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vágner Tróia saved Manhumirim from getting behind. Vágner Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Leal's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Thiago Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vágner Tróia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that Thiago Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vágner Tróia was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Thiago Leal made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Manhumirim's Vágner Tróia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Manhumirim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vágner Tróia should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlinhos Palmeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Laércio Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 89 played minutes Manhumirim got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Queirós. When the final whistle sounded R9FENOMENO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manhumirim.
