Didi Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th minute Telmo Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF's Didi Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Berger in the 11th minute of play. The referee ignored Falcão's protests and gave Segundo Costante a yellow card for diving instead. Segundo Costante hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Telmo Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Alberto Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Renan Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Barral came free, but Didi Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF defense, Telmo Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Dias. The Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Dias should have stopped the shot. Didi Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Délio Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Valdomiro Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Tróia couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdomiro Tróia to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Natã Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falcão the free kick. Natã Lopes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Valdomiro Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Glauco Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Barral in the 59th minute of the match. Didi Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Berger in the 60th minute of play. Didi Dias made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jardel Coelho sent off a good shot on target. Glauco Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF got a corner. Falcão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdomiro Tróia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wiliam Salles made a great header on Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF's corner, it was just that Falcão's Glauco Quadros managed to reach the ball for a save. 70 minutes into the match, Dragões Amorosos - FDFDF's goalkeeper Didi Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Siqueira. Didi Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Berger in the 71st minute of play. Délio Berger took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Dias. Didi Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Didi Dias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute, Délio Berger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Didi Dias. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 80th minute, Jardel Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falcão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Délio Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Falcão's Délio Berger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Carlos Alberto Travassos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Falcão's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
