Bussolo FC's Oscar Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Xavier in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Glauco Custódio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bussolo FC and the Soterópolis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Bussolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Custódio. 22 minutes into the match, Soterópolis FC's Tomás Xavier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Madureira in the 24th minute of play forced Soterópolis FC's goalkeeper Betinho Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Carvalho in the 25th minute of play. Oscar Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Xavier in the 29th minute of the match.
