The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in São Bento's zone, Adriano Seabra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Veiga came out of the goal and Adriano Seabra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes of play, The Punisher's Edgar Miodek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guga Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the São Bento defense, Adriano Seabra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Veiga. The São Bento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Veiga should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Edgar Miodek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Guga Simão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurício Veiga. São Bento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guga Simão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 27th match minute, The Punisher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Paraense to maneuver through the defense. The Punisher's Guga Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guga Simão scored 0-5 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Guga Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Paraense scored 0-6 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Guga Simão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Maurício Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Punisher's Tomasz Smolak got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Adriano Seabra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The São Bento players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Punisher were winning 0-8.

The wind increased when Humberto Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, São Bento's goalkeeper Maurício Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guga Simão. In the 54th play minute Orlando Paraense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maurício Veiga. 0-9. When The Punisher's Adriano Seabra in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Edgar Miodek did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Maurício Veiga 62 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Maurício Veiga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maurício Veiga was a little too slow when Guga Simão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-12. In the 76th minute of the match Chen Quan Zheng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Veiga skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, São Bento's Maurício Veiga got control of the ball when Guga Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match, Adriano Seabra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurício Veiga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute, Guga Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Punisher made a substitution. Carlos Azevedo replaced Tomasz Smolak. The Punisher's Nilton Tavares was substituted for Edgar Miodek. Maurício Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Punisher were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after São Bento's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chen Quan Zheng took the corner. The Punisher's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chen Quan Zheng in the 86th minute. If Nilton Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, São Bento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Vale to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Tavares in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Nilton Tavares sped through São Bento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurício Veiga. When the match was over The Punisher could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than São Bento throughout the match.
