Betinho Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betinho Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Gaspar in the 11th minute of the match. Inhauma FC's José Paulo Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Dracena in the 12th minute of play. José Paulo Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Xavier went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Zé Carlos de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soterópolis FC's Betinho Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Gaspar in the 20th minute of play. José Paulo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Dracena in the 21st minute of play. Ramón Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but José Paulo Gerber made a huge save. A collision led to Inhauma FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sidnei Galvão hit a great ball. The long shot by Tomás Xavier in the 28th minute really tested José Paulo Gerber's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. José Paulo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Dracena in the 32nd minute of play. Betinho Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílton Gaspar went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Betinho Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Ramón Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inhauma FC's José Paulo Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Xavier took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Paulo Gerber. José Paulo Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldinho Vale during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Inhauma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Vale to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Vinícius Cunha put in a rough tackle. In the 55th minute, one of Soterópolis FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soterópolis FC. Soterópolis FC:s Betinho Fonseca showed great skill when he stopped Lúcio Vides:s penalty. Betinho Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amílton Gaspar in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lúcio Vides kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betinho Fonseca. That made the score 3-2 in the 69 minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Cristian Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. José Paulo Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lúcio Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Betinho Fonseca made a huge save. Amílton Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Betinho Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inhauma FC. The Soterópolis FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Soterópolis FC's Ramón Dracena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 94 minutes into the game, Soterópolis FC's Luisão Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Paulo Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Soterópolis FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
