The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Carvalho in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Matos saved Alieninjas from getting behind. If Cléber Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Alieninjas defense, Gernando Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Matos. The Alieninjas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Matos should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Alieninjas's zone, Christiano Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Matos came out of the goal and Christiano Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Fabrício Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Christiano Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Matos was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
