In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Valqueire United's goalkeeper Nilmar Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Vila Valqueire United defense, Wanderson Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilmar Nunes. The Vila Valqueire United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilmar Nunes should have stopped the shot. After 17 played minutes Wanderson Rossi rounded Vila Valqueire United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wanderson Rossi in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Wanderson Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilmar Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wanderson Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nilmar Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorival Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar Nunes having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wanderson Rossi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Wanderson Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Valqueire United's Nilmar Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Rossi in the 60th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Wanderson Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Valqueire United's Nilmar Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Rossi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilmar Nunes saved Vila Valqueire United from getting behind. Wanderson Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar Nunes having to interfere. Nilmar Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Rossi in the 75th minute of the match. Nilmar Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Rossi's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Nilmar Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wanderson Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilmar Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Wanderson Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wanderson Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Valqueire United's zone, Ulisses Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar Nunes came out of the goal and Ulisses Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES had played much better football throughout.
