Wesley Cunha's late challenge caught a Serafina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 69 played minutes, Serafina's Doriva Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delfim Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Serafina reached it. In the 71st match minute, União Cedrense FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Santos to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Monteiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. Rubens Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Luiz Fabiano Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
