Luiz Fabiano Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Rossi's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Serafina's Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Allan de Queirós hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Váldson Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Giuseppe Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dé Tavares during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Serafina got a freekick which was hit by Dé Tavares. In the 21st minute, Allan de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fabiano Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Rossi's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça came free, but Telmo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Telmo Rocha got control of the ball when Giuseppe Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Ulisses Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Allan de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Costa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Fabiano Luz. Serafina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's goalkeeper Telmo Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Moreira. 35 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça came free, but Telmo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafina's Dé Tavares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Rocha. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. When Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Wanderson Rossi in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serafina's goalie prevented a goal. When Ulisses Salles came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Salles couldn't finish the play. When Dé Tavares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The supporters of Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES booed when Serafina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wanderson Rossi was the one to do the kick off. Ulisses Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Serafina's William Schmidt got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Giuseppe Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Rocha. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Giuseppe Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Telmo Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ulisses Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Wanderson Rossi in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serafina's goalie prevented a goal. Ulisses Salles struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Luiz Fabiano Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES. Giuseppe Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giuseppe Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Wanderson Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES and the Serafina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
