The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ulisses Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Telmo Rocha got control of the ball when Lucas Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Lucas Trigo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Telmo Rocha. In the 11th minute Inocencio Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES defense, Lucas Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Rocha. The Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Rocha should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Nico De la Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RWD Molenbeek the free kick. Nico De la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Telmo Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Guimarães in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nico De la Cruz hit a great ball. Lucas Trigo came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Telmo Rocha could save by the left post. Telmo Rocha came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by RWD Molenbeek's Inocencio Guipuzkoa. But to his dismay, Inocencio Guipuzkoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Telmo Rocha came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by RWD Molenbeek's Lucas Trigo. But to his dismay, Lucas Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 33rd minute Inocencio Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Inocencio Guipuzkoa took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Telmo Rocha to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Telmo Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Guimarães in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Saraiva. After 54 played minutes, RWD Molenbeek's Ofelio Lagunas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Telmo Rocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RWD Molenbeek reached it. Telmo Rocha came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by RWD Molenbeek's Lucas Trigo. But to his dismay, Lucas Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 58 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Trigo came free, but Telmo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When RWD Molenbeek's Oséas Guimarães in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's goalie prevented a goal. When Ulisses Salles came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Salles couldn't finish the play. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Elói Dias was substituted for Váldson Fernandez. In the 67th match minute, RWD Molenbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Lucas Trigo sped through Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Telmo Rocha. Telmo Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Guipuzkoa went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Inocencio Guipuzkoa took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Rocha. Telmo Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Telmo Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Guipuzkoa in the 87th minute of the match. Telmo Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Telmo Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Hoffmann in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thiago Vaz during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thiago Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Inocencio Guipuzkoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. There was no doubt that RWD Molenbeek were the better team. RWD Molenbeek's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
