Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute William Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Freitas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Lobo Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Luz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Txomin in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giuseppe Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Donato Freitas made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Schmidt during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ganja FC booed when Serafina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafina's Luiz Fabiano Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Txomin in the 21st minute of play. When Ganja FC's Lobo Murillo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serafina's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute of the match Ganja FC got a corner. Serafina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrei Cambronero ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ganja FC's corner Lobo Murillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Fabiano Luz quite easily take care of the ball. If Giuseppe Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobo Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Luiz Fabiano Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko da Mata lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ganja FC! João Francisco Valadares walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Ganja FC's zone, Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Freitas came out of the goal and Luiz Gustavo de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Txomin to make the kick off. A collision led to Serafina getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Dé Tavares hit a great ball. Donato Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Donato Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Txomin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Schmidt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Prudencio Txomin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fabiano Luz. That made the score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Andrei Cambronero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ganja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrei Cambronero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafina's Luiz Fabiano Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Serafina from getting a goal against them. Andrei Cambronero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 77th playminute. Décio Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Andrei Cambronero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Serafina fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ganja FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
