Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alain Prost in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Maranhense in the 6th minute of play forced Wamser MZ's goalkeeper Ike Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alain Prost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maicon Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Wamser MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson de Queiroz came free, but Ike Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alain Prost's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Arósio was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alain Prost sped through Soltas AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Arósio. Alain Prost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Thiago Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Soltas AD's Thiago Arósio got control of the ball when Maicon Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If André Luís Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Soltas AD's goalkeeper Thiago Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alain Prost. Alain Prost succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 38th playminute. When Wamser MZ's Alain Prost in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soltas AD's goalie prevented a goal. If Maicon Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Wamser MZ's Hermínio Simões slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Arósio. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vânderson de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Soltas AD got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Favoretto. Eliézer Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Arósio having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Jeferson Maranhense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soltas AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wamser MZ the free kick. Jeferson Maranhense hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Alain Prost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Thiago Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alain Prost's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Thiago Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Cordeiro in the 77th minute of play. Thiago Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Prost, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Prost in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Arósio saved Soltas AD from getting behind. Thiago Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Cordeiro in the 87th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alain Prost's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Arósio was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Soltas AD's Thiago Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Secco in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Wamser MZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
