Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tupirama's Clóvis Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Tupirama's Clóvis Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benê Medeiros. Benê Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 7th minute Zeca do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Cido Sanches could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Benê Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Leucadia's Zeca do Nascimento got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Zeca do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rdth minute of the game Zeca do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tupirama's Gilmar Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cido Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Medeiros having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Silveira got free with Benê Medeiros in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leucadia's Benê Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Silveira in the 36th minute of play. Dieguinho Prestes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilmar Rosa. Tupirama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Leucadia's Benê Medeiros got control of the ball when Cido Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeca do Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Britto struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gilmar Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leucadia. In the 60th minute Cido Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Medeiros came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tupirama's Clóvis Silveira. But to his dismay, Clóvis Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Clóvis Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zeca do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benê Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Silveira in the 76th minute of play. Tupirama's Clóvis Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benê Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Sanches in the 80th minute of play. Clóvis Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Tupirama's Arnaldo Santana broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benê Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis Silveira's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Luís Britto hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Tupirama's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
