Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Grêmio Felipe fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Grêmio Felipe's Diego Prestes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão Branco in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Grêmio Felipe's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson de Queiroz came free, but Jorginho Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Felipe's protests and gave Cristian de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes, Soltas AD's Chico Cearense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorginho Quirino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soltas AD reached it. Jeferson Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jorginho Quirino made a huge save. Diego Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Arósio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cido Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Felipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Diego Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Grêmio Felipe got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Munhoz. Betão Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Prestes in the 40th minute of play forced Soltas AD's goalkeeper Thiago Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Cido Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio Hermes struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Thiago Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Felipe.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Prestes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Prestes succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Thiago Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Arósio was a little too slow when Diego Prestes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-5. Soltas AD's Thiago Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Hermes in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Diego Prestes took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Thiago Arósio to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th minute, Diego Prestes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Arósio. The goal made the score 1-7. Diego Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Thiago Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Arósio having to interfere. Soltas AD's Thiago Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Prestes in the 89th minute of play. If Diego Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Soltas AD's goalkeeper Thiago Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grêmio Felipe played a much better game than Soltas AD and deserved their victory. The Soltas AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
