Benê Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Vaz in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Tony da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leucadia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Leucadia's Luís Britto got a free kick in the 13th minute. Benê Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Aloísio Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leucadia's Benê Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Percival Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CEI Rocha's Doni Prestes got a free kick in the 20th minute. Zeca do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vinícius Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony da Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Vinícius Tróia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th minute, Percival Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Benê Medeiros. Leucadia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Vaz in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benê Medeiros saved Leucadia from getting behind. Norberto Romero, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Percival Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Leucadia's zone, Aloísio Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benê Medeiros came out of the goal and Aloísio Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Norberto Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Saldanha's late challenge caught a CEI Rocha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Saldanha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Leucadia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Zeca do Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Allan de Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benê Medeiros. Allan de Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Vinícius Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca do Nascimento in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zeca do Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinícius Tróia was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca do Nascimento in the 64th minute of play forced CEI Rocha's goalkeeper Vinícius Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan de Barros hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Zeca do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leucadia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the CEI Rocha defense, Tony da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius Tróia. The CEI Rocha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Tróia should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Leucadia's goalkeeper Benê Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Romero. In the 78th minute, CEI Rocha's Norberto Romero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Norberto Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinícius Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Tróia having to interfere. The CEI Rocha players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Leucadia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
