Leonard Fink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorginho Quirino made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when José Simões sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Simões in the 75th minute of play forced Grêmio Felipe's goalkeeper Jorginho Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
