Benê Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Tales Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Malinha FC's Federico Cebo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benê Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Malinha FC's André de Carvalho suffered a fractured collar bone after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Luís Britto fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leucadia's protests and gave Luís Britto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Luís Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Leucadia's Abelardo Saldanha got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tales Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Medeiros having to interfere. Benê Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Cebo in the 26th minute of the match. Leucadia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tales Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 67th minute, Zeca do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leucadia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Tony da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Tales Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 79 minutes in the game, Federico Cebo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benê Medeiros having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zeca do Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho Cearense was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 91st match minute, Leucadia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Britto to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Zeca do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrinho Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Malinha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
