Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Luís Silva started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Dinei Berger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pedro Luís Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ronaldão Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Eger in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Silva saved Pomerode FC from getting behind. Washington Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Eda Roots's Dorival Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltazar Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Baltazar Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Bueno in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Berger got free with Ronaldão Arósio in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltazar Silva didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Eda Roots's Luiz Fábio Moreno shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Pomerode FC's Baltazar Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Bueno in the 33rd minute of play. Dorival Bueno might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorival Bueno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Dorival Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luís Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fábio Moreno took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltazar Silva. Baltazar Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A collision led to Eda Roots getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Antonio Manuelo hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Dorival Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Silva. Pomerode FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorival Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorival Bueno made a kick off. Pomerode FC's Pedro Luís Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Edmundo Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pomerode FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eda Roots the free kick. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pomerode FC! Pomerode FC:s Baltazar Silva showed great skill when he stopped Oséas Peres:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Pomerode FC's Edmundo Valadares got a free kick in the 64th minute. Luiz Fábio Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Pomerode FC's Baltazar Silva got control of the ball when Dorival Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Antonio Manuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eda Roots's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pomerode FC the free kick. After 78 played minutes Eda Roots got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Moreno. In the 81st minute Luiz Fábio Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Eda Roots's Baltazar Silva threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Fábio Moreno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 84 in the game by Dorival Bueno from a close distance when the talented Baltazar Silva managed to make a qualified save. Pomerode FC's players were relieved. After 85 minutes, Washington Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pomerode FC and the Eda Roots players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Pomerode FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luiz Fábio Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eda Roots's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Pomerode FC defense, Antonio Manuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltazar Silva. The Pomerode FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltazar Silva should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Berger in the 94th minute of play forced Eda Roots's goalkeeper Ronaldão Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorival Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Baltazar Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
