Antônio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Saraiva in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Fred Lopes took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Armandinho Maciel to make any attempt to save it. Fábio Travassos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armandinho Maciel came out and tried to block the shot, but Fábio Travassos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 31st minute. Cristóvão Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Antônio Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Brito hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Elói Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Godoi was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Fábio Travassos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. João Adolfo Aguiar didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-1 via right post in the game's 48th minute. Pilsen FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Saraiva was the one to do the kick off. Armandinho Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Fábio Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Maciel having to interfere. Basílio Brito hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Egídio Vieira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pilsen FC's Antônio Godoi didn't even have to move. Cristóvão Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pilsen FC's Antônio Godoi got control of the ball when Elói Velloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristóvão Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mazela AD's zone, Fábio Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armandinho Maciel came out of the goal and Fábio Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When José Augusto de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazela AD's protests and gave José Augusto de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mazela AD! The referee gave Pilsen FC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Conrado Vander, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mazela AD's Armandinho Maciel. 5-2. Mazela AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
