Reginaldo Cosme hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Renascença A.C.'s Rufino Rengifo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Silvinho do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Dionísio in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Renascença A.C.'s Rufino Rengifo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvinho do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Tony Hazard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvinho do Vale. The goal made the score 3-0. Nagashow SC's Silvinho do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Leite in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Hazard got free with Silvinho do Vale in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Ciriaco George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Hazard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Silvinho do Vale made a huge save. 5-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Percy Loureiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tony Hazard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho do Vale having to interfere. Nagashow SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Tony Hazard scored to the left of an out of position Silvinho do Vale, making the score, 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Sampaio to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvinho do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Dionísio in the 54th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fabiano Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baltazar Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Sampaio in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Rufino Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Renascença A.C. booed when Nagashow SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Cosme in the 78th minute of play forced Nagashow SC's goalkeeper Silvinho do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nagashow SC defense, Tony Hazard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvinho do Vale. The Nagashow SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho do Vale should have stopped the shot. Nagashow SC's Silvinho do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Cosme in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Nagashow SC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Penha hit a great ball. Gonçalo da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Percy Loureiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvinho do Vale. Nagashow SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Renascença A.C. had played much better football throughout.
