Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Guarda SS's zone, Carlos Augusto Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Ramalho came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Arce in the 8th minute of play forced Odaze's goalkeeper Kléberson Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If João Pedro Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Soeiro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Guarda SS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Igor Azevedo hit a great ball. A hard shot by Iuri das Neves from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Eduardo Ramalho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Elano Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarda SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléberson Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st match minute, Odaze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, Guarda SS's Olavo Lopez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléberson Ramos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guarda SS reached it. Carlos Augusto Lago had several of the Guarda SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Eduardo Ramalho as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aldo Tofani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Ramalho was a little too slow when Carlos Augusto Lago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-1. Eduardo Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Carlos Augusto Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Ramalho having to interfere. Eduardo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Lago in the 44th minute of play. Eduardo Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri das Neves in the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Olavo Lopez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléberson Ramos skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Tofani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Zeca Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri das Neves in the 60th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Carlos Augusto Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 72 minutes into the match, Guarda SS's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Alves came free, but Eduardo Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto Lago in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Odaze fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Odaze's Carlos Augusto Lago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 87 minutes into the game, Odaze's Zeca Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Ramalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Guarda SS's Eduardo Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Lago in the 90th minute of play.
