After a rather tough play, Macurure's Zé Paulo Lara got a free kick in the 11th minute. Sílvio Luiz Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Luiz Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Carneiro in the 53rd minute of play. Ronaldo Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Carneiro in the 61st minute of play forced Macurure's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jonas Carneiro sped through Macurure's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Luiz Urbano. Ronaldo Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Sílvio Luiz Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACD Potiguar. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Macurure! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ACD Potiguar had played much better football throughout.
