Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chatuba FC's Hudson Damião started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, one of Chatuba FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Thiago Branco fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chatuba FC's protests and gave Thiago Branco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Odaze booed when Chatuba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aníbal Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Wilton Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto Lago in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeca Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chatuba FC's Thiago Branco got a free kick in the 29th minute. Kléberson Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson Damião in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Marco Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odaze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chatuba FC the free kick. Marco Alves hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Aílton Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thiago Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chatuba FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jânio Galvão hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Odaze's Kauã Vargas got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Carlos Augusto Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Leal having to interfere. After some careless play in the Odaze defense, Serginho de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléberson Ramos. The Odaze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléberson Ramos should have stopped the shot. After having played for 56 minutes, Serginho de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chatuba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serginho de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Serginho de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chatuba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serginho de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléberson Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Serginho de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aníbal Leal was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Zeca Alcântara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zeca Alcântara really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Chatuba FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Augusto Lago. After a defensive mix-up in Chatuba FC's zone, Zeca Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Leal came out of the goal and Zeca Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Iuri das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odaze's supporters rose to their feet, but Iuri das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aníbal Leal was a little too slow when Iuri das Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-5. Chatuba FC's Aníbal Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri das Neves in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Carlos Augusto Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeca Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aníbal Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carlos Augusto Lago came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Odaze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Lago couldn't finish the play. Odaze played a much better game than Chatuba FC and deserved their victory. The Chatuba FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
