Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Jeremias Gomes made the kick off and thus started the match. Ismael Rocha hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in fodase fc's zone, Chicão Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Arósio came out of the goal and Chicão Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to fodase fc getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Olavo Saraiva hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Dagoberto Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Jeremias Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Prestes having to interfere. Jeremias Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jeremias Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. fodase fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jeremias Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in DICAOL FC's zone, Jeremias Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Prestes came out of the goal and Jeremias Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurício Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chicão Batista in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Cerezo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tarcisio Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Prestes. DICAOL FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tarcisio Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 57 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Cerezo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of fodase fc's Maurício Arósio. Maurício Arósio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emílio Prestes came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by fodase fc's Olavo Saraiva. But to his dismay, Olavo Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, fodase fc's Olavo Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emílio Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of DICAOL FC booed when fodase fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Emílio Prestes was a little too slow when Jeremias Gomes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-3. fodase fc played a much better game than DICAOL FC and deserved their victory. The DICAOL FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
