Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristóvão Cunha took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Naldo dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Inter's Marco Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Sydney Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Inter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naldo dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naldo dos Santos in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tracunhaem's Luiz Fernando da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Hermes in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sydney Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando da Fonseca. Tracunhaem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sydney Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 36th minute, Genílson Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Inter's zone, Naldo dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Sampaio came out of the goal and Naldo dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Didi do Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tracunhaem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Inter the free kick. Didi do Nascimento hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Luciano Hermes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Claudinei Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Sampaio was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Claudinei Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marco Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Inter's zone, Ezequiel Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Sampaio came out of the goal and Ezequiel Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Inter's Chicão Diniz suffered a concussion after 61 minutes and had to leave the field. Claudinei Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinei Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Tracunhaem got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Montenegro. Marco Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Nunes went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. SC Inter's Marco Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Nunes in the 69th minute of play. Marco Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Barral in the 70th minute. Luiz Fernando da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Luciano Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Sampaio having to interfere. Naldo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Sampaio having to interfere. When Luciano Hermes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. After 83 played minutes SC Inter got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Hermes. After taking down the ball on Tracunhaem's corner Ezequiel Nunes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Sampaio quite easily take care of the ball. After 88 played minutes SC Inter got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Marquez. Tracunhaem were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after SC Inter's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naldo dos Santos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Naldo dos Santos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Sampaio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SC Inter's Marco Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Nunes in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, SC Inter's Marco Sampaio got control of the ball when Claudinei Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sydney Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Inter's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tracunhaem's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SC Inter had won, even though Tracunhaem had held more of the ball.
