The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee gave Tracunhaem a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Naldo dos Santos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baviera FC's Bebeto Paraense. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Barral in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bebeto Paraense saved Baviera FC from getting behind. Tiago Paraíba in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Fernando da Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 18th minute, Naldo dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Bebeto Paraense. Baviera FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bebeto Paraense came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Tracunhaem's Naldo dos Santos. But to his dismay, Naldo dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Bebeto Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Barral in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Baviera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Barral came free, but Bebeto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bebeto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tiago Paraíba might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fernando da Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Paraíba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Tiago Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Paraíba made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Claudinei Barral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bebeto Paraense. Claudinei Barral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 56th minute, Tracunhaem's Naldo dos Santos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bebeto Paraense. Bebeto Paraense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Tiago Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Luiz Fernando da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Claudinei Barral came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tracunhaem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Barral couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Tracunhaem's Claudinei Barral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bebeto Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Baviera FC's Bebeto Paraense got control of the ball when Claudinei Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Claudinei Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute of the match Fabiano do Nascimento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bebeto Paraense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ezequiel Nunes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Claudinei Barral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bebeto Paraense. The goal made the score 0-9. Baviera FC's Bebeto Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo dos Santos in the 94th minute of play. Luís Fábio França hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Tracunhaem's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
