But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Torres couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Clube Salvador City's Caco Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Clube Salvador City's Caco Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a little luck, Clube Salvador City's Felippe Tavares got control of the ball when Juarês Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juarês Sampaio made a kick off. Caco Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caco Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Clube Salvador City got a freekick which was hit by Caco Furtado. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês Sampaio in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felippe Tavares saved Clube Salvador City from getting behind. Percival Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match.
