Canes City F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norberto Queiroz in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on Canes City F.C's corner Norberto Queiroz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Fernando da Fonseca quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Tracunhaem booed when Canes City F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilton Paulista struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lautaro Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tracunhaem. Tracunhaem's Ezequiel Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Canes City F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo dos Santos came free, but Lautaro Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Canes City F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Sarmento. Lautaro Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Tracunhaem's Claudinei Barral made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Claudinei Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tracunhaem's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Wilton Paulista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Martinez. The goal made the score 2-0. After 42 played minutes, Canes City F.C's Daniel Lopez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fernando da Fonseca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canes City F.C reached it. Luiz Fernando da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canes City F.C's Lautaro Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Canes City F.C from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber Vianna to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Barral in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Canes City F.C defense, Claudinei Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Martinez. The Canes City F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Martinez should have stopped the shot. Naldo dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Martinez having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Naldo dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canes City F.C's Lautaro Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tracunhaem's Claudinei Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisão Sarmento hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canes City F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naldo dos Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Tracunhaem's players had a chance to rest. 79 minutes into the match, Canes City F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo dos Santos came free, but Lautaro Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ezequiel Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tracunhaem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Nunes couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Tracunhaem's Wilton Paulista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Martinez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Tracunhaem's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Pimenta came free, but Luiz Fernando da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Naldo dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Naldo dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tracunhaem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisão Sarmento's late challenge caught a Tracunhaem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisão Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Canes City F.C getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Luisão Sarmento hit a great ball. Claudinei Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Martinez having to interfere. There was no doubt that Tracunhaem were the better team. Tracunhaem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
