Lautaro Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Canes City F.C's goalkeeper Lautaro Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Moura. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Moura in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 minutes of play, Canes City F.C's Luisão Sarmento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jean Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lautaro Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Queiroz, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. João Paulo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Vianna in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean Hoffmann got free with Lautaro Martinez in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Ricardinho Moura fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lautaro Martinez, passed just outside the right post. After the first half Canes City F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisão Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. Jerônimo Borges hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ricardinho Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lautaro Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Moura in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Canes City F.C's Cléber Vianna got a free kick in the 61st minute. João Paulo Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisão Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Canes City F.C's Jerônimo Borges got a free kick in the 71st minute. After recieving a nice pass, FC Hells Bells's Francisco Cardozo tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Canes City F.C's zone, Ricardinho Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Martinez came out of the goal and Ricardinho Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doni Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Canes City F.C's Luisão Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Donato de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hells Bells's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canes City F.C the free kick. The supporters of Canes City F.C booed when FC Hells Bells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Hells Bells fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when FC Hells Bells's Jean Hoffmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of FC Hells Bells booed when Canes City F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Moura in the 96th minute of play forced Canes City F.C's goalkeeper Lautaro Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
