When Júlio Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Império fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Donatello couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orkun Adar in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Paulo Garcia saved Império from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, INGUINORÃNTES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráusio Ortiz came free, but Dávid Zádor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Império's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Júlio Donatello in the 13th minute. Benjamin Colen scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Paulo Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Benjamin Colen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INGUINORÃNTES FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Colen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orkun Adar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of INGUINORÃNTES FC booed when Império was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Vidal during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Waldemar Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dávid Zádor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Pontes in the 27th minute of the match. Ediberto Pontes got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dávid Zádor handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Brito in the 28th minute of play forced Império's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, INGUINORÃNTES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Pontes came free, but Dávid Zádor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Ramalho hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Luís Paulo Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Colen's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 42 minutes of play, Império's Ediberto Pontes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dávid Zádor was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to INGUINORÃNTES FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Waldemar Vidal hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Orkun Adar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INGUINORÃNTES FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orkun Adar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half INGUINORÃNTES FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orkun Adar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Império's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orkun Adar. With 54 minutes on the clock, Umberto Marinho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Império:s Luís Paulo Garcia showed great skill when he stopped Décio do Vale:s penalty. In the 63rd minute, INGUINORÃNTES FC's Bruninho Brito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After a rather tough play, INGUINORÃNTES FC's Bruninho Brito got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orkun Adar in the 74th minute of play forced Império's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Ediberto Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Império's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INGUINORÃNTES FC the free kick. In the 74th minute, Ediberto Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orkun Adar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Garcia having to interfere. Orkun Adar struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Luís Paulo Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INGUINORÃNTES FC. Waldemar Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Luís Paulo Garcia made a huge save. Benjamin Colen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Império's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Waldemar Vidal scored to the left of an out of position Luís Paulo Garcia, making the score, 1-4. Luís Paulo Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orkun Adar in the 98th minute of the match.
