In the 21st match minute, Vilfes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, Arraias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Azconzábal Argomedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vinícius dos Santos's late challenge caught a Vilfes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arraias's Vinícius dos Santos got a free kick in the 31st minute. Azconzábal Argomedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Eliseu Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arraias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Samuca Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azconzábal Argomedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Urbano in the 45th minute of the match. Azconzábal Argomedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Urbano in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Zézinho de Barros fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Azconzábal Argomedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Samuca Costa came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Arraias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Costa couldn't finish the play. Azconzábal Argomedo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Vilfes FC's Manoel Zonta. But to his dismay, Manoel Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 71st minute Marcos Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azconzábal Argomedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilfes FC's Sebastião Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Costa in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho de Barros in the 76th minute of play forced Arraias's goalkeeper Azconzábal Argomedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Arraias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Arraias's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Zonta came free, but Azconzábal Argomedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albertinho da Cunha in the 87th minute.
