Edmundo Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nicolas Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Pitta having to interfere. Edmundo Paiva hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Antônio Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir de Godoi in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Lucas during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Flu Galático getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Paulo Lucas hit a great ball. Antônio Velasco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luan Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute Waldir de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luan Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Antônio Velasco made a huge save. Antônio Velasco came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Absoluto FC's Luan Barros. But to his dismay, Luan Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luan Barros did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Antônio Velasco 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luan Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Absoluto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luan Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Barros got free with Antônio Velasco in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fred Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flu Galático's Antônio Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Barros in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Nicolas Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flu Galático's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antônio Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Flu Galático getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Wilian do Valle hit a great ball. A hard shot by Paulo Lucas from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Genílson Pitta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Queiroz in the 64th minute of play forced Flu Galático's goalkeeper Antônio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Absoluto FC's Waldir de Godoi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st play minute Nicolas Marquez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Genílson Pitta. 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Marquez in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fred Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Fred Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir de Godoi in the 82nd minute of play forced Flu Galático's goalkeeper Antônio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Rodrigo Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Queiroz succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. 93 minutes into the game, Claudinho Ramalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Absoluto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flu Galático the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Claudinho Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Pitta having to interfere.
