If Wesley Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedê Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Toscano in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Quadros made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Aníbal Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Dobrada's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Damião came free, but Dedê Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedê Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar do Vale in the 85th minute of play. If Wesley Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Buba & Gump F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
