Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hernani Motta took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Golabeira's Geovani Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wanderson Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Golabeira's Hernani Motta in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vila Mariana FC's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Magno Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wanderson Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 minutes of play, Golabeira's Magno Pereira made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wanderson Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Luiz Eduardo Leão fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wanderson Valladares, passed just outside the right post. In the 21stth minute of the game Hernani Motta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Mariana FC's Wanderson Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Senna in the 22nd minute of play forced Vila Mariana FC's goalkeeper Wanderson Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernani Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Valladares having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Cacá de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernani Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wanderson Valladares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernani Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. Wanderson Valladares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Pereira in the 42nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Geovani Senna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Vila Mariana FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zé Alvarenga hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Luiz Eduardo Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golabeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Eduardo Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wanderson Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Magno Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovani Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wanderson Valladares having to make a save. Wanderson Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Senna in the 56th minute of play. If Magno Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Geovani Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Christian Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Hernani Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golabeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Hernani Motta made a precise shot to the right of Wanderson Valladares. Vila Mariana FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdomiro Dias during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valdomiro Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Magno Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Golabeira fully deserved thier win.
