After having played for 8 minutes, Márcio Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrebol SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márcio Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Machado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arrebol SS's Ronaldinho da Mata got a free kick in the 15th minute. Wesley Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Salles in the 22nd minute of play forced Dobrada's goalkeeper Dedê Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobrada's Wesley Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wesley Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Wesley Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobrada's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute Márcio Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Rodolfo Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dobrada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Wesley Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dobrada's Dedê Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Queirós in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Rodolfo Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dobrada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Quadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mário Trancoso. Arrebol SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Quadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Salles made a kick off. Dedê Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Salles in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Dobrada's goalkeeper Dedê Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Queirós. After a rather tough play, Arrebol SS's Ronaldinho da Mata got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mário Trancoso came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Dobrada's Rodolfo Quadros. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Dedê Machado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Márcio Varela came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Arrebol SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Varela couldn't finish the play. Dedê Machado made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Márcio Varela sent off a good shot on target. José Carlos de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Carlos de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Arrebol SS got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos de Salles. Márcio Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Gernando Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rodolfo Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Dobrada were the better team. Dobrada's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
