When Valdemar do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Buba & Gump F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar do Vale couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tigrinho booed when Buba & Gump F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Aníbal Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Buba & Gump F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Luiz Guilherme Teles went to the wrong direction when Germano Pires was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Aníbal Damião's late challenge caught a Tigrinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Damião helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Buba & Gump F.C.'s Luiz Guilherme Teles got control of the ball when Vitinho Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Erik Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Erik Toscano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tigrinho's Cafu Capixaba. Cafu Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Valdemar do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cafu Capixaba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cafu Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Tigrinho's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar do Vale came free, but Cafu Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Cacá Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacá Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cacá Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Tigrinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Cafu Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Erik Toscano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cafu Capixaba came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Toscano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. Cacá Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tigrinho's Cafu Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Toscano in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Buba & Gump F.C.'s Valdemar do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Capixaba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Márcio Sanches hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play Buba & Gump F.C.'s Aníbal Damião was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th match minute, Buba & Gump F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Damião to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Araújo's late challenge caught a Tigrinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. Nelsinho Araújo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Buba & Gump F.C.'s Luiz Guilherme Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Cerezo in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Valdemar do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafu Capixaba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Germano Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
