Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chiquinho Vargas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pedro Luiz Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Tepedino in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Bolota FC's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Tepedino came free, but Reinaldo Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to HASBAR FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sebastião Valladares hit a great ball. Duda Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 12 minutes on the clock, Virgílio Loureiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 13th match minute, Bolota FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. HASBAR FC's Enéas Vieira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Reinaldo Mota but with some difficulty. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Reinaldo Mota successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Reinaldo Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Bolota FC's Luizinho Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Luiz Paulo Dias made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luiz Mesquita. HASBAR FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Oséas Xavier could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Reinaldo Mota however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizinho Linhares in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luiz Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bolota FC's zone, Oséas Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Mota came out of the goal and Oséas Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Chiquinho Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Bolota FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Chiquinho Vargas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Haroldo da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Bolota FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto França. After a defensive mix-up in HASBAR FC's zone, Luiz Paulo Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Mesquita came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Luizinho Linhares sped through HASBAR FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Luiz Mesquita. Bolota FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Duda Couto in the 67th minute. Duda Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. HASBAR FC's Pedro Luiz Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save HASBAR FC from getting a goal against them. Luizinho Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes of play, HASBAR FC's Oséas Xavier made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Paulo Dias got free with Pedro Luiz Mesquita in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Paulo Dias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Bolota FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 91st minute, Luizinho Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Luizinho Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo Dias in the 94th minute. Luizinho Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bolota FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
