When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rodolfo Quadros sped through Old Glory's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dadá Gonçalves. In the 14th minute, Wesley Novaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Gonçalves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Dedê Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Old Glory's Aílton Madureira got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Evaristo Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedê Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 24 played minutes Old Glory got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Fantini. When Dobrada's Rodolfo Quadros in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dadá Gonçalves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wesley Novaes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Old Glory's zone, Wesley Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadá Gonçalves came out of the goal and Wesley Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Quadros made the kick off in the second half. Dadá Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Quadros's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Rodolfo Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Dobrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Aílton Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Caetano Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dobrada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Old Glory the free kick. The throw-in from Tomé Barreto in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dobrada's Caetano Madureira. 78 minutes into the game, Dobrada's Rodolfo Quadros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dadá Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Evaristo Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dedê Machado having to make a save. Caetano Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Aílton Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dobrada booed when Old Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dobrada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
