An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Donatello in the 3rd minute of play forced Guize FC's goalkeeper Fernandinho Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes, Doriva Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guize FC and the Taquaral Campineiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Guize FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Donato Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandinho Dionísio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. The Taquaral Campineiro fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Taquaral Campineiro's Geraldo de Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 16 minutes into the match, Geraldo de Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Dionísio. Guize FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geraldo de Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Guize FC's Frédson Mazza got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Albino Steven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Dionísio. Guize FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Steven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 25 minutes into the match, Guize FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Donatello came free, but Fernandinho Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandinho Dionísio came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Taquaral Campineiro's Donato Guerra. But to his dismay, Donato Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Fernandinho Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Albino Steven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fernandinho Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes, Geraldo de Godoi made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Guize FC's Fernandinho Dionísio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Guize FC booed when Taquaral Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Silvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Guize FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taquaral Campineiro were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Geraldo de Godoi made the kick off in the second half. Fernandinho Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo de Godoi in the 52nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Bebeto Dantas put in a rough tackle. Donato Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fernandinho Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taquaral Campineiro's Albino Steven got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Albino Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doriva Amaral hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Albino Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Dionísio having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, Taquaral Campineiro's Albino Steven made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandinho Dionísio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sydney Paraense hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo de Godoi in the 81st minute of play forced Guize FC's goalkeeper Fernandinho Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd play minute Albino Steven came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernandinho Dionísio. 0-9. Fernandinho Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo de Godoi in the 86th minute of the match. When Luís Fabiano Proença fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guize FC's protests and gave Luís Fabiano Proença a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the game, one of Guize FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Taquaral Campineiro a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramón Leme, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guize FC's Fernandinho Dionísio. 0-10. Gilmar Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Fernandinho Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Guize FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taquaral Campineiro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
