Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) DC Olina's Sydney Chaves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Ruy Dantas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira. Maicon Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13th play minutes Sydney Chaves shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Maicon Vieira and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Sydney Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maicon Vieira was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Maicon Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Chaves's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Sydney Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Maicon Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute Vicente Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leme Chargers's Vicente Silva was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Chaves in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Leme Chargers's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Dantas came free, but Maicon Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sydney Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Perivaldo de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the DC Olina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perivaldo de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. In the 44thth minute of the game Sydney Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Silva to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Maurinho Medeiros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maicon Vieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sydney Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maicon Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Vieira having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Sydney Chaves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maicon Vieira, 1-5. Sydney Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maicon Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Leme Chargers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Matorin to maneuver through the defense. DC Olina's Sydney Chaves was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sydney Chaves in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maicon Vieira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 76 minutes, Sydney Chaves made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aloísio da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney Chaves in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maicon Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute of the match Maurinho Medeiros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maicon Vieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. DC Olina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
