After 10 minutes, Geraldo de Godoi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's Bebeto Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Júlio Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair McCormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CORINTHIANS MY LIFE defense, Armando Donatello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bebeto Ferreira. The CORINTHIANS MY LIFE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto Ferreira should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 30 in the game by Geraldo de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Bebeto Ferreira managed to make a qualified save. CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's Igor Saraiva got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 38th minute, Raúl Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Albino Steven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taquaral Campineiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Taquaral Campineiro's Armando Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Bebeto Ferreira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bebeto Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Meirelles to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's Cafu Mattos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cafu Mattos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CORINTHIANS MY LIFE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cafu Mattos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 57th match minute, CORINTHIANS MY LIFE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Taquaral Campineiro from getting a goal against them. Albino Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Ferreira having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Taquaral Campineiro's Donato Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bebeto Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick got control of the ball when José Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Taquaral Campineiro's Geraldo de Godoi in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bebeto Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Bebeto Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Donato Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Geraldo de Godoi sped through CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bebeto Ferreira. Geraldo de Godoi, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 92nd minute, Matheus Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blair McCormick acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Igor Saraiva. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Taquaral Campineiro. Geraldo de Godoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bebeto Ferreira. 7-0.
