Caco Travassos ran back to his position shaking his head. Flávio Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Silva in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Batateiros Sport Club's Caco Travassos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maicon Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maicon Vieira made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Magno Paraense sent off a good shot on target. Maicon Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Paraense's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Caco Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batateiros Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maicon Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Batateiros Sport Club's Caco Travassos in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Silva to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Magno Paraense notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira. Maicon Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th match minute, Batateiros Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Paraense to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Dráusio Simão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flávio Alves skillfully saved the ball. Batateiros Sport Club's Flávio Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Silva in the 69th minute of play. Batateiros Sport Club's Magno Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caco Travassos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maicon Vieira having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Caco Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Maicon Vieira. Leme Chargers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Caco Travassos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maicon Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Caco Travassos scored 5-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maicon Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Batateiros Sport Club were the better team. Batateiros Sport Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
