Maicon Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Mattos in the 10th minute of the match. If Luís Fabiano Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Leão during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uruguaiana made a substitution. Marquinhos Diniz replaced Silas Esteves. After a rather tough play, Leme Chargers's Wiliam Leão got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Fabrício Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcelo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon Vieira came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguaiana's Marquinhos Diniz. But to his dismay, Marquinhos Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 40th minute Marcelo Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Mattos in the 42nd minute of play. Marcelo Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Vieira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Luís Fabiano Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguaiana's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maicon Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maicon Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Maicon Vieira had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marcelo Sousa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 61 minutes into the match, Leme Chargers's goalkeeper Maicon Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fabiano Mattos. Uruguaiana made a substitution. Aníbal Varela replaced Luís Fabiano Mattos. In the 77th match minute, Uruguaiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Pombal to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Leme Chargers's Gilberto Branco in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Uruguaiana's Aníbal Varela in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leme Chargers's goalie prevented a goal. Aníbal Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maicon Vieira having to make a save. A collision led to Uruguaiana getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Aníbal Varela hit a great ball. Uruguaiana's Aníbal Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marquinhos Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Leme Chargers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguaiana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
