Nome do Time's Pål Rudkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Silva in the 13th minute of play. Pål Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Silva in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Silva in the 18th minute of play forced Nome do Time's goalkeeper Pål Rudkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ahmed Chipo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira. Maicon Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Edinho Prata could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Maicon Vieira however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Leme Chargers's zone, Ahmed Chipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Vieira came out of the goal and Ahmed Chipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nome do Time's Luiz Guilherme Meireles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maicon Vieira but with some difficulty. Edinho Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Vieira having to interfere. Cristiano Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Edinho Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maicon Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nome do Time's goalkeeper Pål Rudkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Ahmed Chipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leme Chargers's goalkeeper Maicon Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilberto Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Pål Rudkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Matorin in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Edinho Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nome do Time fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 81 minutes into the match, Nome do Time's goalkeeper Pål Rudkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo da Cunha. In the 82nd minute, Leme Chargers's Cristiano Matorin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Many of Leme Chargers's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Leme Chargers may have spent more time on the ball, but Nome do Time were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
