With a little luck, CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's Bebeto Ferreira got control of the ball when Rafa Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Beremundo Ochandiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CORINTHIANS MY LIFE the free kick. CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's Bebeto Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Aparecido in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafa Aparecido got free with Bebeto Ferreira in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Rafa Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovânio Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Rafa Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bebeto Ferreira having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Aparecido in the 31st minute of play forced CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's goalkeeper Bebeto Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beremundo Ochandiano got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Beremundo Ochandiano got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Rafa Aparecido lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Bebeto Ferreira. Junior Neymar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elói Taffarel came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's José Meirelles. But to his dismay, José Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Júlio Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Taffarel having to interfere. I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Reynaldo das Neves was substituted for Junior Neymar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Meirelles made a kick off. Elói Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Júlio Barral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 57 minute of play. Cristóvão Costa hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Meirelles got free with Elói Taffarel in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, CORINTHIANS MY LIFE's Igor Saraiva seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Igor Saraiva the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CORINTHIANS MY LIFE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Igor Saraiva had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub. Percival França stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bebeto Ferreira. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Aparecido in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bebeto Ferreira saved CORINTHIANS MY LIFE from getting behind. If Ramón Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 3-2 came in the 91st minute when Reynaldo das Neves all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Bebeto Ferreira. Bebeto Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo das Neves in the 97th minute of play. I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
