Lucio Satordi struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Osmar de Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LORD FOOT. In the 15th minute Claudinho Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Piavore FC's Christiano Sergipano got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Christiano Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piavore FC's protests and gave Christiano Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Piavore FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Christiano Sergipano hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, LORD FOOT's Lucio Satordi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dre Loos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Piavore FC's Hamílton Saldanha in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LORD FOOT's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, LORD FOOT's Dre Loos got control of the ball when Duarte Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. LORD FOOT's Dre Loos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save LORD FOOT from getting a goal against them. Dre Loos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half LORD FOOT were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dre Loos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, one of Piavore FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piavore FC. Pedrinho Pernambucano placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Piavore FC's Osmar de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Piavore FC from getting a goal against them. Osmar de Senna made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Lucio Satordi sent off a good shot on target. The LORD FOOT supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LORD FOOT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
