Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arlindo dos Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo dos Santos in the 7th minute of play forced Atlético Canelada Sport's goalkeeper Moisés da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Leal in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes A.D.Cerquilhense got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Brito. Maurinho Diniz was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Alexandre Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Canelada Sport's David Arce slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurinho Diniz. That made the score 3-0 after 14 minutes of play. A.D.Cerquilhense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when David Arce scored to the left of an out of position Maurinho Diniz, making the score, 4-0. Arlindo dos Santos took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés da Costa. Moisés da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Alexandre Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Atlético Canelada Sport getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alexandre Marques hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, David Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Canelada Sport's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Paulo José Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Maurinho Diniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moisés da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo dos Santos in the 40th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Arlindo dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moisés da Costa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arlindo dos Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 57 minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Canelada Sport booed when A.D.Cerquilhense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Maurinho Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Arlindo dos Santos notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Atlético Canelada Sport's Moisés da Costa. Moisés da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurinho Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Atlético Canelada Sport getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. David Arce hit a great ball. After 83 minutes of play, Atlético Canelada Sport's Alexandre Marques made it 6-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurinho Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arlindo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés da Costa having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Canelada Sport players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
