The Porvir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eurico Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alberto Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Porvir's goalkeeper Dito de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Moreno. A collision led to Porvir getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Wellington Leme hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Lúcio Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taguarussu SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dito de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Eurico Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Pires. Taguarussu SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurico Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 24 minutes, Eurico Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Macedo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Pires saved Taguarussu SS from getting behind. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bruno Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taguarussu SS's Alberto Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Bruno Valladares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Pires. Taguarussu SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Valladares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, Porvir's Wellington Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 minutes Taguarussu SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Valladares who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Porvir's Eurico Macedo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Macedo in the 40th minute of play forced Taguarussu SS's goalkeeper Alberto Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Taguarussu SS's Alberto Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu França in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Eurico Macedo made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Bruno Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porvir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Porvir's Rogério Leme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberto Pires. That made the score 0-5 after 53 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, Simão Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Porvir booed when Taguarussu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Edu França dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alberto Pires, 0-6. Wellington Leme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Pires came out and tried to block the shot, but Wellington Leme slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 78th minute. Eurico Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Pires having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Taguarussu SS's zone, Bruno Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Pires came out of the goal and Bruno Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Taguarussu SS's goalkeeper Alberto Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Valladares. When the final whistle sounded Porvir left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taguarussu SS.
