Elano Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 0-4 became the score in the 35th minute when Paulinho das Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 38th minute Paulinho das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gears of War MZT's Olívio Trigo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Elano Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hudson Abreu to make the kick off. Elano Motta made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when João Francisco Brito sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Alves in the 66th minute of play forced Gears of War MZT's goalkeeper Elano Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta got control of the ball when João Francisco Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Paulinho das Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elano Motta. The goal made the score 0-6. Elano Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Elano Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Alves in the 91st minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Gears of War MZT's goalkeeper Elano Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulinho das Neves.
