In the 4th minute, Fabrice Pelleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlad Bistreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurinho Aguiar in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Gaspar in the 18th minute of play forced Real Sertões F.C's goalkeeper Valério Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrice Pelleman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, CruLakers SAF's goalkeeper Vlad Bistreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toninho Cearense. Víktor dos Santos hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Vlad Bistreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Amaral in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, CruLakers SAF's Vlad Bistreanu got control of the ball when Toninho Cearense tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Maurinho Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Sertões F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Toscano was slow to take the kick. During this time CruLakers SAF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Donato Toscano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Sertões F.C's Valério Magalhães did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cléber Gaspar was the one to do the kick off. Donato Toscano hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Ricardinho Rosado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vlad Bistreanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to CruLakers SAF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fabrice Pelleman hit a great ball. Vlad Bistreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, CruLakers SAF's Cléber Gaspar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Cléber Gaspar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Valério Magalhães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. CruLakers SAF's Fabrice Pelleman got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Fabrice Pelleman off the ground. Jonas Prata didn't quite understand what happened when in the 64 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jonas Prata's late challenge caught a CruLakers SAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Prata helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CruLakers SAF booed when Real Sertões F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Toninho Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Bistreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CruLakers SAF's Víktor dos Santos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Toninho Cearense took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlad Bistreanu. Vlad Bistreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogo Trevisan during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CruLakers SAF booed when Real Sertões F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Sertões F.C's zone, Eduardo Hartmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Magalhães came out of the goal and Eduardo Hartmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Alcântara in the 90th minute of play forced CruLakers SAF's goalkeeper Vlad Bistreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
